There is a single entry, and a multi entry visa.
For example, if you are taking a cruise from Jeddah that goes to Egypt, and then returns to Jeddah, you will need a Multiple entry Visa.

Your visa will include health insurance while IN Saudi Arabia (its not a travel insurance, but it is a health insurance, which operates if you need a doctor or hospital visit while in Saudi Arabia - your policy will be in your online Visa profile, and usually is emailed to you with the visa. The Saudi immigration department automatically allocates one of the Health Insurance providers to you - you do not get a choice.)

Saudi Arabia is one of the safest places on earth. People will put their phone and car keys on a table in the mall food court, and go get food, and come back. They will leave their shopping near the door of a shop in cart - and go inside and browse without a care in the world. People leave their cars unlocked.

So really - you will have no issues in Saudi Arabia as far as personal safety goes. But of course, keep your valuables safe.

There are many places you cannot smoke in Saudi Arabia, and on Aroya Cruises.

Cabin balconies and restaurants, and public areas - and inside your cabins - no smoking or vaping.

Saudi Arabia is a muslim country, and with the 2 holiest sites in Mekkah and Medinah, and a society which is devoutly following the teachings under Islam, you will not find pork in stores or restaurants, nor alcohol in bars and restaurants.

You cannot bring alcohol or drugs into Saudi Arabia. That includes a ban on edibles and other medicinal canabis products.

The Duty Free stores onboard Aroya sell cigarettes, cameras, clothing and jewellery.

Virtually all places in Saudi Arabia will accept credit cards. You can change AUD$ USD$ EUR GBP and other currencies at the airport and other places.

Note that some banks are designated for women only (also called Family banking area), while there will be a separate entrance for men.

Getting cash out at an ATM in Saudi Arabia is virtually impossible - and over the counter in banks also does not work (as you need to have an account with that bank). So you might want to bring some cash in your home currency to change if you really want to tip people in cash in Saudi Arabia.

Onboard Aroya you will give your credit card during online check in, or at the check in counter. The ship itself is therefore cashless.

If you are doing shore excursions into certain ports, you may need Euro or USD (for instance in Egyptian or Jordanian ports).

Aroya has high quality wifi signal 0 but it can vary on different parts of the ship.

Other people can purchase a wifi package through the app, or through the reception desk onboard. Prices will vary by your cruise length and destination. But it is comparable with the cost of other cruise companies.

There are kids drinks packages, as well as packages that include cocktails, juices and premium coffee and tea.
